Home Made Muesli

Muesli is a cold cereal that is a little healthier than commercially boxed cereal.  It is full of nutritious things like oats, nuts, and dried fruit.  When you make muesli yourself you can customize it to your preferences; you’ll also know every ingredient that goes into it.  My favorite combination includes rolled oats, cashews, and dried unsweetened mango.  This recipe makes one serving, which can easily be sealed in a waterproof container along with the milk and carried with you.

Ingredients:
½ cup old-fashioned rolled oats
1 handful nuts
1 handful unsweetened dried fruit Enough milk to moisten the cereal

Directions:
1.Combine all ingredients
2.Let stand at least five minutes before eating.
